It depends upon how the peripherals are used. For example, you could have a USB GSM/GPRS peripheral, a USB Bluetooth peripheral, and a Compact Flash 802.11G Card peripheral connected to the cPC. I doubt you would want to run these simultaneously, however for phone calls you could have the USB GSM/GPRS peripheral connected with Bluetooth. For the cPC, does the WinXP OS reside on the Hard Drive, such that there is the usual boot-up delay, or is the OS resident in ROM giving instant-on?
Tablet XP resides on the Hard Disk Drive and Windows Mobile resides on the ROM. Windows Mobile boots instantly and Tablet XP boots and hibernates like any other Tablet XP OS. We are adding a feature in the production version that accesses the Hard Disk Drive from Windows Mobile WITHOUT booting or bringing Tablet XP out of hibernate for fast disk access. This mitigates the normal boot time of Tablet XP.
